Small Un-Coverered trays!

didn't know you used small, uncovered trays

sits in the corner of the room functioning as a piece of abstract art which they've never been in the slightest bit interested in but I suppose that it's become positively "de riguer" for every home to have a piece of abstract modern scupture
 

I thought the massive one I bought at the Supreme would be the bees knees but I have to say it's a faff lifting it back and forth (suppose it's weight training without joining a gym) and it's awkward getting the lid off then back on again.

that's one of the perks of pregnancy i suppose john has to clean/change the litter trays

I must admit, extra large trays are a mixed blessing!  I thought the massive one I bought at the Supreme would be the bees knees but I have to say it's a faff lifting it back and forth (suppose it's weight training without joining a gym) and it's awkward getting the lid off then back on again.  It's terribly unwieldy and is certainly a 'feature' of the living room!

My cats use medium sized one's from PAH, the ones with a removable rim to supposedly stop over spill!

I don't Sarah and, more to the poiint, neither do my cats ! 

I simply thought that it would be more "PC" to allow Small Un-covered litter trays to have their say 

For the record my cats use Extra-Large Un-covered litter trays from Pets at home, I do have a large covered one that I bought from a local pet shop which sits in the corner of the room functioning as a piece of abstract art which they've never been in the slightest bit interested in but I suppose that it's become positively "de riguer" for every home to have a piece of abstract modern scupture

They only seem to be in the South (below the Thames) & South West - I assumed they were all over.

I have to laugh when I see people in pet shops buying teeny weeny litter trays.  They must either have midget cats or have forgotten that kittens grow up!

Well, I actually have two of these; a white one for basic show use and a pastel blue one to go with my lovely blue satin-silk show drapes for Supreme and non-GCCF shows. You'd struggle to get anything bigger into a basic 2x2x2 pen anyways.

They're compact and fit for purpose on a day out to a show (Pearl rarely goes to the loo at shows but I have to provide a tray for her) but I wouldn't use them at home as she digs like a good 'un and Toby does ocean-sized wees and these trays just wouldn't cope with day to day use - or should that be abuse?

They have some really big, deep uncovered trays in Scats for £3.50

I use uncovered trays cos taz sees hooded ones as cat carriers

They're useful for bunnybums though, so they do have a genuine place in a 21st century society

Know what you mean about the floor!!  I've bought one of those old fashioned bex bissell carpet sweepers so I don't have to keep pluggin the vac in - only about £10 from Argos.  Dustpan and brush too hard on my poor back which I'm having physio on at mo.

Mrk, know I should probably go into rehoming to discuss this but just wanted to say once again sorry you didn't get the cat and I know what you mean about an audiance - I've been a first aider in previous jobs and people just ruddy crowd around you and take to notice of what you say - they think they are helping but theu aren't .Fingers crossed the lady will see it again.

Having noticed Sarah's post entitled "Large Covered trays" I thought I should post this in defense of the equal rights of Small Un-covered trays so as not to hurt their feelings
