Any general books on cat health Nick? Was going to purchase a brand new one with all common ailments/signs/treatments etc just for general knowledge but would much rather donate to a rescue.

Well its all to go to the Somerset and Dorset  cat rescue centre so I'll probably suggest a modest price and ask for offers . I intended to put them on ebay so if I sell direct I'll save the fees which can be deducted . How does that sound ?

Will find my list out and PM it to you, Nick. Thanks for looking, sounds like it might be a bit epic! Oh, do you have a rough idea of how much you'd want per book?

I am the dastardly Cat book collector of old London Town ha ha :evillaugh:

No I just bought them as a joblot to sell individually to raise funds for my local cat rescue centre.

I would be happy to look through for any books that anyone is looking for

Jack I'll have a look later when I've finished sorting my accounts backup . Can you give me a clue what I'm looking for ?  there are over 100+ to look through lol :tired:

Don't suppose Psychokitty's amongst them? I've been after that one for ages! :evillaugh: I have a list somewhere of ones I'm after. If I PM them to you, would you let me know if you've got them? :)

I've got some Claire Bessant books, but I'm not that fond of her work. I think it's because on the whole I agree more with Vicky Halls theories.

Thanks Nick, I'm always on the lookout for good cat books. That one sounds OK, but not something I'll be hunting down now!

What's "The language of cats" like? I've got all the other books listed, but my favourite author on the subject has to be Vicky Halls.

290x215mm hardback 160 pages 50 col 100 B & W 98 line drawings  1977

Typical 70's coffeee table book . Rather dated in layout and format although it is comprehensive and contains some good cat behaviour information.
Wouldn't recommend it really unless it was cheap or to complete a cat book collection :)

Claire Bessant's books are good too, esp The Cat Whisperer and Secret Life of Cats

Hi Angela
I have 3 books by Vicky Halls

Cat Counsellor ~ How your cat really relates to you.

Cat Confidential ~ The bestseller your cat would want you to read.

Cat Detective ~ Solving the mystery of your cats behaviour.

Can recommend all of them.

I know on the good old CC site there were threads recommending books on behaviour, but can't remember which they were. Please can someone remind me - got some book tokens for Christmas and have been interested in behaviour for a while. Losing Whisper, is spurring me on to learn more - so I can help Charlie as much as pos.
