Both ctas are fairly manageable and will come and sit on my knee and enjoy being stroked. One adores being brushed ;D

are the cats handle-able.... if so then yes... you've got more scope for wormer and Drontal is better... I was basing it on them not being manageable?

What kind of worm? As Panacur doesnt do the tapeworm related to fleas.

I would give a drontal and do them regular, it doesnt sound like the owners are doing much if the cats live and eat at yours
Tablet wormers dont stay in the body like spot ons so safe to use regularly, some kittens are done every 2 weeks if infested
You'll also be pleased to hear that worms can hibernate in muscle tissue and migrate when they wish which is why regular worming is important  ;D

You can get drontal online v.cheaply from VetUK, i'd do both of them  ;)
Lots of rescues have links to vetuk that earn commission, so dont forget to use one of those!

The slightly easier way to worming if you vet is understanding is to get the drop on variety. Maybe you could plead your condition for not bringing the cats or say its for your cats  :shify: :shify:

At least this way you will know its gone on and It doe not sound like they have been wormed recently if you can see the signs, I wouldnt both with the neighbours  ;D

You could do.... if you use a mild one like panacur you should be fine just in case they've been done (but by the sounds of things I'd doubt it).  If its that bad then they obviously haven't done it for quite some time but then there are many people out there who say 'what's worming then!?! ?!'

You can get it in sachets that you can add to their food if that makes it easier and its cheap.  Let us know how you get on.

Personally speaking I'd avoid the confrontation... as if they are like that with their cats lord only knows what they are like to other people.

Would appreciate some advice regarding one of my visiting cats. Some of you might remember me talking about two cats who are practically permant visitors. We shelter them at night and feed them. The owners are very strange and do not want to give up ownership.

The thing is one of the cats has got worms and I do know if I should go ahead and treat her or mention it to the so called owners. Because of my present state of health I cannot get into an arguement with them or any hassle.
