Title: No glass of water is safe!
Post by: Sabrina (Auferstehen) on September 04, 2007, 18:46:22 PM
Well not in my house.

Locked the normal culprit (Lirael) out of the upstairs so that I could clip Quinn's nails, which went smoothly this time and I actually got to clip them instead of Quinn shredding my arm.

Well I came into the bedroom once I was done and there was Harley on the computer desk with her head in my glass of water!

My husband thinks this is extremely funny as all he drinks is coka cola and none of the cats will drink that.

I have to keep a bottle of water by my bedside instead of a glass of water since I got Mosi  8)

I had a cat once who loved coffee. I had to warn visitors to drink theirs quick because if they didn't Smokey would drink it for them. They thought I was joking...

Problem was Smokey always had terrible bad breath.

I have to have a beaker with a lid on my bedside table at night now, I was woken far too many times by Max standing on the edge of the bed with his head in my glass  :evillaugh:

I also caught him dipping his paw in a glass of Baileys once, and that's even before he used to have cat milk  :tired:

I have one of those beakers for small children at the side of my bed, I find it easier to drink from that anyway in the night as I don't have to sit up so high and don't miss my mouth.

I know the feeling Ela!  I should get one of those, there's so many times I try to drink lying down, and end up wearing half of it  :evillaugh:

When Cheese was little, you couldn't leave a cup of tea down for 1 minute or she would have her little head in there drinking it!

Now they just seem to knock drinks over - by "accident"  :evillaugh:

Strange why they have to drink our water & not their own. Narla waits for me to put water at the side of the bed then runs to go drink some.. One of mine likes Camomile & Nettle tea.

Lirael normally goes after tea & coffee but she'll wait until you're done with it.

She will put her paw in the mug and lick it off though so it looks adorable.

Have the water container thingie with a lid that's a glass, keep forgetting to fill it up.

Might get some kid cups with the sip top though ;)
