Title: Collection for a new Kitten Cage for our Lesley

Just a note in this section to anyone that wants to help, we are collecting funds to raise money to replace Lesleys kitten cage that went missing. If ya would like to help a very worth cause to a wonderful dedicated Rescue angel :Luv: please have a look at this link to the other thread :thanks: :hug:

Each donation link we do from now on will look the same but it will tell you to who and why we are collecting every time so you know where 100% of your money is going.

Will keep this going till August 25th and hopefully we can collect enough for a nice pen for our Les. ;D

Need to speak to Les but we have a choice of either getting a few normal dog cages or one posh kittening pen like the ones below

There is one called a stacker (1st pic) for £235

or a lovley bigger one called a Mews (2nd pic) for £317

Post by: Tan on August 20, 2007, 00:04:40 AM: Ok hunnies we are almost near our target to get a lovely highly recommended for mum's and kittens pen for Les. Purrs gift to our Les for all the wonderful caring work she does for the needy little ones and their mum's.

We have collected so far £230.50 from you wonderful wonderful peeps so far. So we have £48 agreed to go to Sue for the tent money at Lesleys wish leaving £182.50 for a cage. Now the 1st s£100 profit from the da bird toy sales is due to go to Lesley as our 1st rescue from the shop fund so if we add that to the cage fund we have £282.50 so far for a kittening pen. Only another £34.50 to go and we can get Les a Mews pen ;D ;D ;D That's a great pen for mum and her kittens to eat sleep and play ;D ;D ;D

I am absolutely gobsmacked that you have all done this for me, nothing has happened like this before and I am overwhelmed.

As stated on another post, the pen will be called my "Angel Pen" and I will have a plague made to that effect in memory of Teresa's Angelica and all the little babies we have fought for and lost.

Feel really guilty - I thought the collection would take a while and so I would have a chance to chip in.

Sorry, I dont want to take up the thread with my excuses! I think its wonderful everyone has helped out - and its a fitting tribute to little Angelica :hug:

Post by: Tan on August 23, 2007, 16:12:13 PM: Ok i have emailed the penthouse pen peeps to order the narrow kittening pen for our Les but i hope hoping for a discount so we can upgrade to the standard kittening pen which is wider ;D ;D Waiting for thier reply. They both look like the pic below with the two doors. ;D

We have also made enough in the collection to pay back the missing tent money to Sue and i have paid her the £48 by paypal just now. ;D ;D

All together we have raised £258 from this fund and from the 1st £100 shop profit (the da bird sales) which was going to Lesley added, plus tonight's Purringo donation in memory of Teresa's Angelica in the name of the full house winner £20. That makes up a total £378!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I really want to thank everyone who has not just donated but also supported Sue, Les and Teresa. Every single one of you are wonderful people and i am very proud to know you. A special thanks to Ela for starting it all.

Can I borrow it please? There are 2 cats in Sheffield that need to come in yesterday and no rescue in that area can or will help. Of course now I know I have to help. Oh! well such is life.
