Title: Huffington Post condoning animal abuse
Post by: Drewid on May 20, 2013, 15:51:26 PM
Please take a minute to look at a short video on Huffington Post entitled Cats vs Hairdryers (http://huff.to/10ZUZnK).

If you agree with me that some of this footage is abuse then please comment so on the page. Also please sign, share and tweet my petition to Arianna Huffington (http://chn.ge/10GVpR4).

This video originated on Youtube but Huffington Post should not have reposted it as this could appear that they condone this type of behavior.

I have emailed both HP and Arianna Huffington about this and have not had any satisfactory reply.

I really would appreciate your help.

It's hard to tell, but I don't think it's abuse - most of the cats are playing/fighting back and I think an abused cat would just run and hide.

I have to agree, I've seen the same level of annoyance from my cats over polystyrene packing beads.

just my humble opinion. :)

It looks cruel to me, some of the cats are fine and obviously interested in the hairdriers but their are also some that seem to be are cornered and look scared. My one cat is petrified of the hairdrier and hides as soon as he sees it. I've never and would never blow air on him.

And the ones trapped in a corner?
