Oh no. She's decided only CP can help. I wish more people knew the basics (checking for microchips, neutering etc) and asked their local rescue for help rather than taking matters into their own hands.
Is there any way we could get this lady to post on here so we can advise her better?

Is anybody brave enough to ring her ?
-
Have texted her to look in on Purrs for help and advice, please. Hope she doesn't get the hump :scared:
-
Great - she texted back asking for help. ;D
I've asked her to join here so we can talk her through the mechanisms available and find her a local rescue who can take this little guy in - he sounds a proper cuddlebum.
:crossed:

ah thats great news well done Purrs :Luv:

What happened? Did she post on purrs? Were peeps able to help? Is the cat still alive. :oh noo:
-
I didn't hear back from her. :-:
When she responded to my texts she sounded really grateful that someone had offered support, I invited her to come here for advice and support and to look for a local rescue on Catchat, but I fear when she said she wanted "help" what she meant was she wanted someone to come and take the cat off her hands so she didn't have to bother finding somewhere for him herself, or arrange his TNR which would likely have resolved the problem.
She didn't call back and I don't know if she joined. :(
I hope she found somewhere for him. :scared:

To pts a friendly cat seems extreme. Only the RSPCA would do such a thing, surely. I would imagine most private vets need a good reason.
I do hope someone offered him a home.
Silly woman :P
