you spend a fortune on a new cat tree....
and all they are interested in is the box???

-
Oh I have given up and don't even start me on cat beds.....
-
I am quite strict now and dispose of packaging after 7 days to incentivise the use of the new item :naughty:
-
We have boxes in the lounge they sleep in and replace them when they are broke, also in the conservatory, and our bedroom, we have more beds than PAH
The clan also have 35 scratching posts from floor to ceiling to Fatboys and every sort that is made, even my outside ferals have them in the garage
-
Since we moved we have an extra room with a spare bed. This is now Ella's room!
-
...and I thought 2 floor to ceiling scratchers was excessive! ;D
-
We have three scratchers - they never get used!!
-
Ours have 3 bedrooms they are allowed to use and they would debate that our bedroom is theirs as they spend more time in it than we do
In the cat room they even have a double bed with electric blanket still so does the kingsize and super kingsize and yes they are on timers in the winter for the darlings
In fact we bought the house for the cats and dogs - isolated, away from roads, no close neighbours, woods, a stream, a paddock and a rather large mortgage but they would be safe
-
Well we considered Ella (and then Effie) when we were househunting and so many places we saw were unsuitable for them. Ella can mooch of now safely and happily - however I hadn't planned on the fact she would have so many boyfriends when she got here!!
-
My two ignored the cat tree and the radiator bed for about four months - now they use them all the time. They still love a bit of cardboard though!
-
Oh yes the radiator beds - I remember Sean coming home from the shop clutching these happily. They have been in the wardrobe since they were ignored!!
-
I just left it on the radiator, one day I walked in and one of them was sleeping in it (ironically, earlier the same day I'd been thinking about donating it to a rescue!).

Our Auction will be in Nov/Dec :innocent:
-
We also have 14 radiator beds and most are used in the winter by my ferals they love the heating on and of course there are the unusual beds the covered litter tray with sheepskin behind the chair in our bedroom and the extra large one under the radiator bed in the familyroom again with sheepskin and nobdy uses them as a real grit box but they do use them for group snuggles :Luv2:

A flash of inspired genius hit me this morning.
Of course, how stupid of me not to think of this before.
A box...a box that lasts and lasts...a box you can fold up and put away when sniffy sister-in-law comes....a box you can wash....
A purrs shop folding play cube!!!
Me? Idiot.
Purrs Shop? Genius. :briggin:
Just found this on You Tube...the bottom clip is best (as if I wasn't already convinced ;D )
