I hope you don't mind me posting here but we've got a new competition that we've just launched i thought it might interest you.

The name of our competition is Pets Factor and our aim is to find the most talent/ cutest pet out there and crown them the Pets Factor Champion!

It's completely free to enter and the reason I'm posting here is that we want true pet lovers to enter not just people who want to win prizes/competitions.

We've got some great prizes on offer for the 5 winners including 2 stays in Pet-friendly hotels (for you and your pet), a professional photo shoot/ framed picture of your pet and loads of Pets at Home vouchers!

I dont know who you sent the emails too but you need to contact Tan who is the site owner, a pm would get to her and probalbly better than an email if her inbox is as big as mine and I just delete any that I dont recognize!

Pleasse put a meaniful title cos a pm will also go to her inbox.

Also please change your user name......at least drop the dot com.

Tan is very reasonable but we have a Cat Show running from 26 May to 21 June which is an annual event raising funds for rescue , so I expect she would not want another event advertized on that time on Purrs.

Post by: Rich LR on May 19, 2011, 17:13:12 PM: tiddles was my first ever cat. Who has sadly passed away now. I'm actually a massive cat fan (much prefer them to dogs) and if my landlord allowed it i'd have another! sadly not though.

Tiddles lives on in spirit though! :)

Post by: Tiggy's Mum on May 19, 2011, 17:21:35 PM: On the subject of cats v dogs, the prizes do seem to be a bit geared towards dog owners :P The 'stay in a hotel with your pet' prizes - don't see many cats being happy to go on a mini-break :evillaugh: Same for the photoshoot, taking a cat to a studio is more likely to result in a cowering cat unlike a delighted dog :naughty:

I wonder if the winner is a cat owner will they be permitted to leave their cat at home and enjoy the hotel stay without their feline friend? :naughty:

Nonetheless I've entered a pic of my cat, he definitely has the Pet Factor so fingers crossed :naughty:

if that is the case and they also don't want the photo shoot we can always award it to 2nd place.

the competition is open until Sunday and then voting starts on Monday on the same page as you entered.

i am on holiday next week so won't be around to reminder you but just click on the same link as before on Monday and you'll be bale to vote for a winner.
