Voodoo Moo was a mouse. Most people would think there wasn't much to say after that - they'd be wrong.
Moo came to me from a free ad; someone had bought him for their child who then decided she wanted a hamster. So Moo ended up at in a friends garage being kept in a plastic box with a whiteboard gaffer taped on as a lid.
When he came to me, he'd not had much interaction and the first thing he did was jump out of the box and give me and my cousin the runaround for two hours. He was worth every minute.
After about a year of bolting whenever anyone went near his tank he finally started to get curious. About the cats, about the people that were talking to him. He still wouldn't let people pick him up, but he loved listening to you chat to him.
A few months ago he developed a tumour. It got larger with alarming speed but it didn't seem to make him unhappy. He still listened, ate, drank and climbed like he had when he first started to trust.
Mice don't have long life spans. But I'm hoping that the time Voodoo Moo had here he knew he was loved - and that I feel truly blessed to have shared time with such a wonderful little soul.
RIP Moomin Magoomin. You will always be one special rodent and you'll always be loved.

Bye Voodoo Moo. Fare well, little man. You're one special little Mouskie.

Indeed he was. Was trying to think of a plant for where I buried the little chap and Sam came up with a brilliant one - cowslip. :) Apparently they sell them at Morrisons; so I just need to convince someone to take me there now. ;)
-
Brilliant choice. :) Native and hardy too

RIP Voodoo Moo.
I'm sure you'll give him a great send off Jack!

He currently has a little cross and a mini windmill marking where he is so I can make sure I plant his plant correctly. The windmill is quite jaunty and I'm tempted to leave it; he was pretty jaunty too.

What a sweet and characterful little Voodoo Moo he was. So sorry to hear that he's gone, but he certainlyly won't be forgotten. RIP little Moo
