Title: Smudge my son for 13 years

3 years ago today I buried Smudge in my/his garden just in front of the heather that he loved so much.  I hope there is ome heather at the Bridge for you my darling.

You sent the gorgeous Bonnie to me cos you knew we could give each other the love that you had known with me for 13 years.

4th September 2007 will always be the worse day of my life when you went missing.  I cried every day until Bonnie came into my life in December.  She couldn't take away all my tears but she helped me.

In April when a lady found your coller I thought I was getting nearer to you but a few days later someone called me to say they had found your body (RTA).  Because of that lady's phone call I was able to bring you home and lay you to rest.  This day, 15th April was even worse than 4th September.

I loved you so much Smudge and will never forget you.  There is still a space on the pillow next to mine if you want to visit me.  Bonnie knows that is your space.  :hug: :Luv2:

You all know I stay away from the health and behavious and Rainbow Bridge cos I would be crying at all your stories cos I know you all love your cats as much as I did Smudge.

This time 4 years ago Smudge I was laying you to rest in your favourite part of our garden.  The heather is still growing and you know I talk to you every day and how much I miss you.

Today is so hard for me as I am once again thinkking 'what if?' 'if only' - I know you know I did everything to find you in those 7 months when you went missing but I so wish i'd found you before the idiot ran over you and killed you.

I'm so glad that the lady walking her dog phoned me to come and get you and bring you home my darling.

I love you always and forever Smudgeroo.

Hope that's where I end up on the bridge , not bothered about seeing anyone else as long as I see all my cats .
Bet Smudge is rolling in the sun and having lots of fun with all the other cats and kittens .
