Two new little furry people to give my heart to !

Oh how exciting we need names, piccies and of course a day by day diary of your big adventure ;D
We here at the Clan are all very excited for you ;D

Oh I promise - camera batteries are on charge right now !
The two cats are currently called "Boston" (A black boy) and "Kai" ( a white girl) but I think we will probably change those names if the cats dont mind too much !

Its always hard to say goodbye to one who's with you only a short while (I fostered LONG ago ..... ) At least you know she's going to a very good home and will be able to keep in touch :)

Gill, I remember what I was like when Noni went to be with her Mummy. I cried on and off for a good couple of hours..... :shy: Clearly not because I was worried about her, but because I knew how much I'd miss her.

Sad time for you Gill but remember you have done a amazing thing for pussy, if she hadn't come to your front door who knows where she would be now :( I know I've got this day to come with Tyson and TT but I may just be putting it off for as long as possible ;)

Pussy left today for Lau in Cheshire and I am now broken hearted :'(

As I posted on another thread, both are now safely here .
Big black boy is HUGE ! Even bigger than Mr T was (I'm beginning o wonder if someone actually slipped a panther into that carrier ! ;))
Miss white is smaller and daintier with a faint tabby "m" marking on her head that makes her look vaguely anxious
As soon as they both feel like coming out from under the sofa (where they are curled up together) we will try and take some pictures.
In the meantime, we are trying to carry on as normal - terribly keen that they should come out and be happy, but knowing they must feel very strange right now
I will keep you posted on progress

Well they are still happily under the sofa And s the sofa has a storage heater behind it, they are warm and snug.
I suppose rather than calling them "him" and "her" Id better give them their new names for the first time here
Boston will now be known as "Celyn" This is a Welsh name and means "Holly" Ive long thought it would make a rather good name for a cat and - seeing as we are only JUST out of the Christmas/Yuletide period, seems rather appropriate
Keeping with the Welsh theme - Kai will be known as "Olwyn" Olwyn means "She of the white tracks"
Hopefully, neither cat will mind too much having a name change - New start and a new name sort of go together.
Neither have shown any great interest in coming out to explore, but Olwyn pricked up her ears at he rattle of the kitty biccie box, and I think she has just nibbled a few cat treats as shes busy having a wash - i can hear licking noises.
Celyn is stretched out against the heater - Hes interested in me if I peep at him, but hes far too cosy to bother about a handful of cat treats - well, when I'm watching, anyway!
Ooh as - I type Olwyn has emerged ! Yay !! Shes off for an explore !

Olwyn has had a bit of an explore - even to the point where shes batted a cat toy about - but all secretly - she did that in the bedroom while we stayed in the main room .
Celyn hasn't moved a muscle - hes crashed out asleep, bless him :Luv:

Awwwww! I'm sure by tomorrow they'll be adjusted to their new surroundings and will be cris-crossing underfoot trying to trip you by this time tomorrow! :naughty: :evillaugh:

Awwww! Im getting all teary because ..... Celyn has just jumped up purring and given me kitty kisses ! He came out from under the sofa - walked up to me ... purred ... jumped into my lap and ..... kisses all over my face ! Olwyn is in one of the bedrooms, playing with Chloes toys !
Hes just learned it can rain indoors - I couldnt help crying - hes so like Mr T! Currently hes back under the sofa washing his slightly damp head

Olwyns tour of inspection continues :evillaugh:
She approved the catnip, the cat toys - underneath the beds and on the window sills - commented loudly on my lack of housekeepins skills when she got dust up her nose under a book case ....
Right now shes "helping" Kieron in the kitchen - hes trying to peel potatoes and shes chattering away to him with "brpps" and purrs.
Celyn has gone back to sleep Crashed out under the sofa again. Hes sprawled - which I always take to be a sign of a relaxed cat. Both of them purr for England !
I don't think anyone is going to get much sleep tonight - they will be exploring and we will be saying "Who was that - and doing what ?" And you know what - I don't care a bit ! :Luv2: ;)
