I was approved to foster for my local CP just over a week ago, and got a phone call asking if I could go and collect a stray last night, and due to the weather I obviously said yes.
The woman has been feeding him since Sep, but now the weather has changed, they have been worried enough to ask for help - they have tried getting him in their house, but he hated it (They do have another cat and kids, although he played with the kids outside). They have been feeding him though, so he looks in good condition, I would say about 3-4 yo, neutered - and typically black and white!! Although he is mainly black with a little bit of white on his face and bib, white toes on his front paws, and more white on his back paws. Incredibly friendly and affectionate, what I call 'starved of affection'. He wasn't impressed with the car journey, but has been fairly quiet since coming back, and spends most of his time sitting on the windowsill looking outside. He is also litter trained, which is a relief!! Am glad he is out of the cold. Will get some pics when he stays still long enough!!

Can't wait for the pics Des and a youngster for you ;D

I have always fostered cats of all ages - I did tell the CP lady that while I will foster whatever is needed, I would much rather not do mums and kittens, and she did agree they are a lot when you work full time.

Well done Desley and waiting for his pics ;D ;D

Thanks, he is a little darling, you only ever hear from him when he thinks he should be fed (which is more than I think!!). He is going for a check up on Tues, will see if the vet agrees with the age me and my neighbour gave him.
-
How did Felix's vet check go Desley? He reminds me of my bridge baby Tiny who turned out to be at least twice the age we originally thought he was
-
Fine, the vet didn't see anything to disagree with mine and my neighbours opinion of his age.
