Title: Feliway update
Post by: tab on October 14, 2010, 09:55:03 AM
I thought Id give you an update on Amber, cystitis and feliway.
Amber is doing good at the moment. No signs of cystitis although shes still on 2 cystease a day. I will probably try to reduce them next week after Ive had my DLA tribunal so I should be less stressed.
The feliway is well odd. I dont know how much Im over watching her to see if she changes but....
The first night she sat in the middle of the front room and stared at the light for ages which kind of freaked me out but then I saw a teeny tiny fly so Im guessing she was fly watching not meditating on the light.
She then spent half the night walking all over me in bed. I was actually awake and restless so she came to get cuddles. I live in a tower block which is currentply having window repairs so has a massive cradle climber going past the windows at odd times. Yesterday I wasnt feeling well so was lying on the settee under a blanket when Amber joined me. The cradle went up and down past the window and actually was working on my window and she just sat on me and wacthed them. No running to hide at all. Of course that meant I had to stay lying on the settee with workmen outside the window rather than being able to go a hide myself  :evillaugh:

So overall I think feliway seems to be a total success. Thank you all for the suggestion and to Si for the diffuser
love

I wish they made Feliway for hoomans

Ollie suffers really bad stress which affects his skin and the Feliway definately is helping. Will find out for sure when we move home next week. Got the feliway plugged in already in the new house

I'm so pleased for you and Amber - it will take a lot off your mind.  Have you tried orange oil for yourself - it's an uplifting oil - I used to pour it all over at work.  I put a few drops on my mum's artificial flowers and it picks her up when it's a miserable day.
