I woke up about 5am this morning and the pair of them were up and about. As it was a bit nippy, I decided to get up and switch the heating on. I thought that would attract Jaffa back onto the bed as there is a radiator next to the bed, and encourage him to have a bit more sleep! Wrong. I thought world war 3 was going to break out as the pair of them fought over who got to lie where :innocent: Jaffa sat on his heat pad at the bottom of the bed (by the radiator) so Mosi came a few minutes later and lay down on Jaffa's bottle (now cold obviously) which is at the top of the bed (also by the radiator). That was when world war 3 nearly broke out as Jaffa decided he could not allow that and Mosi decided he wasn't budging. It would have been funny if it hadn't been 5am. As sitting on Mosi wasn't working, Jaffa resorted to sulking and whining like a petulant toddler. Even when Mosi moved down the bed a bit later on, Jaffa still wasn't happy. Too close apparently! Jaffa is not prepared to share the radiator with Mosi. It's long enough for both of them and I'm sure that if Jaffa had got himself settled on his bottle before Mosi beat him to it, he'd have been ok with Mosi lying on the bed further down. Needless to say, I got no further sleep and felt like banging their heads together.

 I can relate - since Joey's been staying with us he and Rossi have taken to running up and down the stairs for about half an hour at a time either at around 1am or 6am. And when one of them wants feeding/to go out after the cat flaps locked at night/to tell me there's a fly on the wall, of course the other one has to join in with the miaowing. I said to my OH last night they're like Kevin and Perry

Must be something in the air, our two have been chasing each other around for a couple of days now - well, okay, Drum has been
terrorising her sister doing most of the chasing.
I'd still have them over toddlers any day though!

Hobbes has been running up and down the stairs like a mad thing all on his own this morning, I think he's getting in some practice for our new arrival

I was thinking this about Pepsi last night, when we first got her she would jump up onto the kitchen worktops but we trained her out of it. Last night as I was chopping veg, she jumped up on the worktop so I shouted at her, picked her up and put her down in the front room. As soon as I went back into the kitchen she ran straight back in and jumped up again so I picked her up again and she did her 'I know I'm being told off' squeaky meow and I put her back in the front room. Then she ran back in and jumped up again! I thought she was being like a naughty toddler and trying to push me and wind me up :evillaugh:

Jaffa got it right this morning. He got himself in prime position before Mosi got on the bed so was happy to share. Funnny aren't they? Mosi was quite close to Jaffa but Jaffa wasn't bothered because he was where he wanted to be. He's the same with the tv. They both like to lie on it but Jaffa insists on having the slopey bit (warmer) if they are both up there. This is what comes of having 2 cats who both want to be boss cat!

My two fight like cat and

I found a scab above Coopers eye today, obviously caused by Peanut. She may look all sweetness and light but my word, she can scrap like a right scrubber! :evillaugh:
I do find myself talking to them like naughty children when they are squabbling!!
