Title: Unhomeables (at least difficult to home) at Rhodes Minnis
Post by: Mark on July 18, 2010, 19:13:19 PM
Apparently there was a warning sign to go near them at your own peril. I didn't see it and got sworn at several times  :evillaugh: - The have a dormitory with access to the outside so they can wander everywhere, except into the feral part. Some of them do go and say hello to the ferals though  :Luv2:

Not sure if its me at a low ebb por whether those poor cats really are crying out for someone to sit on the floor with them and let them know just how important they are, surely they are not all unhomeable.

They have an army of volunteers - it's just that everyone was helping out showing people round, making tea & coffee etc. I know they do their best and take in as many cats as they can possibly help regardless of age or condition.

Going by a poster I saw, they also have disabled children come in to pet the cats as well.

What lovely cats. I think that's a pretty good set up, too.

It's funny as I was thinking "those poor cats don't have any people" - they are cats after all and are probably happier with cat company. I feel sorry for the ones that would rather be left alone  :(

It's strange how in a household, you get cats that don't get on for various reasons, but when the numbers get that high, there doesn't seem to be any fighting.
