Saw this in the national newspapers yesterday.
Here is the local newspaper's article:

Another case where they're too quick to pts!
-
Following our marriage last year, we have had to rewite Wills and are due to sign them soon with letters of wishes. The letters of wishes mainly indicate how we want the cats to be cared for including our wish that RSPCA does not benefit.
What a terrible thing to happen.
-
Omg!
I think I hate the RSPCA even more now - if that's even possible.
Poor Blackie :'(
-
Good! Shame about the poor doggie though :'(
-
Poor dog....typical RSPCA. If it's not young, cute and in perfect health they give up straight away. Tigerbabys Capone is a perfect example.
-
That's just so typical of them, RIP Blackie :'(
They don't deserve a penny, and now thankfully won't get even that !
-
Thats terribly sad, especially as there was nothing wrong with the dog.
Serves them right to miss out on the legacy.
-
So sad for the poor dog but so pleased this got into the press and it would be great if the natoinal press would follow it up.
Truman with Moira was another RSPCA case.......would only last a couple of weeks they said...............still going strong nearly a year on!

For avoidance of doubt, the RSPCA has been left no money whatsoever in my will and my executors have been given full and detailed instructions to ensure it gets none, ever.
That will suffice for my comment on this matter.
