I was sitting on my latop on our sofa which is in front of the window and Oscar was getting all agro and growly about a cat in our garden (He's a big wimp so grumbles from behind the safety of the glass!) I put him on the floor so he wouldn't be all stressed but he jumped straight back up and was followed by Jasper who was also getting all aggitated by said cat who was actually minding his or her own business and just sniffing round our garden. Monty was also alseep on the top of the sofa and suddenly, the cat obviously did something to spook them as they all jumped in the air and made a very quick beeline off of the sofa. Unfortunately the most direct route was over my back, across my head and down my face! I think it was Oscar who did the damage but it felt as if they all darted across me.
It was not at all intentional and just cause they were spooked but I unfortunately have quite a few nasty scratches over my forehead, nose and cheek as well as down my back. Brad came down to me screaming with blood literally pouring down my face. He wouldn't let me near a mirror til he'd cleaned me up as there was LOTS of blood but luckily the blood was worse than it actually is. I do look like I've been attacked but they will heal! I think anyone who sees me will think I've either been in a fight or a carcrash though as I have about 8 or 9 deep scratches across my face :(

OUCH! and sympathy's
In my attempt to get Benji to the vet today, Benji ended up with his front claw stuck in my lip! (he was in my arms, while the carrier was being re-sorted, a 3rd attempt to get him in) he waved his front paw around and got it stuck. I couldn't get it out and he was pulling on it (think fish on a hook)...luckily my fiance helped get it out, but it doesnt half hurt, so you certainly have my sympathy's! (I don't have any tcp stuff to put on it, so good old salt water, although it made my eyes water!)

I know what you mean Mark- as soon as I'd been cleaned up, I was back in the lounge with the puds, checking that the trespassing cat had gone and that THEY were all OK!
