I posted about their fighting and not getting on and the fact that we may have to split them and possibly take Milo back to Cats protection, but I never introduced them!
Milo is FIV+, 4 years old, described as tabby, but he looks like he is hiding some Bengal in there, what do you think? his behaviour is certainly like a Bengal!!! He is very playful but a bit of a bully and a very enthusiastic digger of his litter tray! He was a stray who was then brought in to the Cats Protection. Despite his slender build he is a greedy so and so!

This is him after a frantic cube play session

This is him on a rare sleepy moment
Benji is FIV+ too, 6 years old, a bit of a round tummy, not the most mobile of cats due to an old accident which makes him walk a bit wobbly and his tail flick around. He is much more sedate than Milo and just a scrumptious gent! ;)

Benji, asleep on the bed! (please ignore the random sock in the corner, lol)

This is Benji, decidedly unimpressed that I did not have any chicken to give him
I still don't know what to do about them fighting and not getting on, I have spoken to my fiance and he feels it would be best to seperate them, as Benji is stressed, I spend a lot more time with Milo than he does though and am attached to them both, but worried about their quality of life....
anyway...they are both lovely and it's time they were introduced properly.
I hope you enjoy
:)

it can take time - but they should come round to each other.
Both boys are very handsome. xx

They are lovely, but sadly Benji is prone to stress related gastro enteritus (he was re-homed but then brought back to Cats Protection due to this) and after having one slightly soft poo since being here and the rest being firm, he has now got quite bad liquid poo, so we have had to make the decision to return Milo to Cats Protection in Bredhurst, as their fighting is obviously affecting Benji's health.
This makes me really quite upset as Milo is so lovely and he has just learnt how to play with the cat cube (instead of using it to sleep in!) and he loves Da Bird and his catnip toys, and his scratching post, he has just started coming up to me for cuddles during the day too.
Maybe in the future when Benji is settled I will be able to find a more suitable companion for him, I think he would suit a little old lady who, like him, enjoys a quieter life.
Thank you for your comments, I think they are both beautiful cats

Sorry it hasnt worked out this time but it does sound like a mismatch, generally i think its better if matching up adults who dont know each other to settle one in and then add the second one at a later date, you risk a big power struggle as they try to find their feet. Being in a pen together is very different to living in a house, very important to have happy indoor cats so i think you made the right decision
Both are gorgeous btw :Luv2:
