Title: switching cat litter
Post by: Kirst on January 28, 2010, 21:59:37 PM
Stevie is currently using Catsan - now he didn't take to the OKO cats best that I use for all the others , but I don't really want to be buying two lots of litter , so when he is settled in , how is the best way to go about trying to convert him?

Golden rule with cats and changing things - a little at a time and hopefully they won't notice. They hate being rushed into new concepts.  :evillaugh: Stick to his usual for now and change it to the new stuff slowly it... a handful more each time.  :sneaky: With luck he'll adapt easily.  :naughty:

Will do , thanks. He os a very purry headbutty boy this morning , and he really wants out of the spare room.  :Luv2:Do you think it is too early to let him have a wander of the rest of the house when the others are shut away?

I don't think it's too soon Kirst but need to be ultra careful that all outdoor access firmly secured so that when he tries to give you a heart attack by going missing you will know for sure he hasn't escaped  ;)  Are there any pics?  Have I missed them?  What gives?  :naughty:
