been going for about an hour. Hot water at the ready and warm towels. Emergency vet phone no to hand. Oh my!
must go and hold a paw......
-
Ooo....Good Luck, Here's hoping all goes to plan! :Luv:
-
:luck: Give Mum a little paw squueze and brow rub from me :care:
-
well its keeping in with the colour schem so far. Black and white at 8-34 and black at 9-07. Had to break the sack of the second 'cos mum didn't seen too bothered.
just surfaced to have a quick shower (so much for the soak in the bath!) leaving Judith to mummy mind.
She has not chewed the cords so going down with dental floss and a pair of sharp scissors just in case!
-
Oh how exciting! Well done all :Luv:
-
How exciting, hope everything goes okay with mum and babes
-
2nd one is grey not black.
third one is black and white born 9-40.
4th one on the way now ... going back......
-
Do you know how many she is having Angie? ;D
-
11-05 another black and white.
Thought she was straining again 10 mins ago but she looks knackered
-
Congrats on the births. Black and Whites are the best. :Luv2:
-
well we seemed to have stopped at 5. She feels empty now. She has eaten 2 plates of cat food and apart from looking really tired is purring and the kittens seem happy.
Judith has just left the building and I have tidied up her pen.
Will have another drink and then think about some rest myself.
Will do a headcount in the morning - I still remember the shock of finding an extra kitten 36 hours after the rest were born - that was the second moring after the night before.
-
So pleased its gone well Angie and one grey oine sounds great ;D
Hope mum and kittens do well over night and no extra kittens in the morning
-
Hope everything is well with mum and her little family this morning and that you managed some sleep
-
Congrats.
-
So far so good. Mum and babies seem to be eating and drinking well
No idea yet how I am going to be able to tell the 4 black and white ones apart - no problem with the other one. :Luv2:

Awww I love the little face on mammy cat :) I always fall for the mums :Luv2:
-
Can't believe it one of the kittens has her eyes nearly fully open - less than 3 days old!
-
I think we need more pics of the babies ;)
-
How could I have missed this thread!!!!
Congratulations Mummy... and Mummy's Angie and Judith! :Luv2:
How do you lot cope with cats going into labour ????? Is there a special course
I think I'd be more stressed looking after a cat in labour than doing it myself :evillaugh:
-
Day 5 photo not very exciting I'm afraid but don't want to get the flash too close as their eyes are open

The difference in just a few days, all that Mum's milk and now they are dried out is remarkable. They don't look the same kittens, amazing! :Luv2:
-
ands there me, even started a thread for your new family for you to show us those naughty torties and you post in my family's thread
-
First time on the pc today Angie, been finishing off making them another cat bed/cushion. Just fed her again, and she seems to have got over the virus that we have in the cat room at the moment. Yes I have just noticed, thanks for doing the thread, now all I do is to wait for OH to come back home with the camera and wait for time on the pc, fighting off 17 year old who wants to catch up on his tree surgeon forum and his coursework, and OH who uses this one because its handy, despite his own laptop, anyway I don't want to steal your babies' limelight. :thanks:
You are quite right about the torties, they are always fighting for a place at the milk bar, and the ginger and white ones are as good as gold, and I hardly hear a peep from them. :briggin:
-
WOW they have grown really quick,my next door neighbours cat has just had kittens only yesterday and they look so tiny compared to these ps i'm still coming over for the grey kitten i'm sure i have a pocket in my coat just right for the little one :naughty:
-
Better make it large size pocket, I remember her having it, and it wasn't as quick as the others!
-
oh bless her the poor mummy, ok i have my handbag with a hot water bottle in the bottom then ;)
-
As much as I hate moving this family and really don't want to I have just agreed with Karen that she will take over fostering this family.
It means I can have more time with my lot, poor ebony and of course freddie gopher - not to mention any job that I manage to get as I am actively job hunting!
So Karen , if you read this - lots of phots and updates after you collect them this evening - if I don't hide behind the sofa when you come round :(
-
oh bless you have done a really good job with these babies just look at how they have grown well done! are they coming closer to where i live in the Midlands ;D
-

Right finally after getting loads of lovely pics on my phone and then trying everything to get them on the computer and failing. Then dropping phone in toilet :-: so lost photos. I got a new memory card for my camera (had lost mine and i was trying to find it but gave up) I have some piccies but only have two of the kittens here as the other kittens have lovely new homes. Grey one is saying with me and has two names at the moment but i would like to say i had nothing to do with either of them :) He is going to be my husbands cat so he decided to name him Jedi :-: But when they first came to us my children were glad there were 5 kittens as i have 5 children so this time no fighting they got to name one each and my youngest son 3 named the grey one Diego go go go! So His name changes at our house depending on who you are speaking to! Little black and white one has been named Diddy as he was the smallest, he is still waiting on a loving home I would love to have him too but i have just gone from 2 to 4 cats as i had 2 cats Pongo and Perdi, then fell in love with Jedi and then finally decided to adopt my first foster mum lollie who came to us in dec with an older kitten and 3 baby kittens. The others were all homed but she was still here and she has got to us as she is so lovely :Luv2: we decided to keep her. Anyway im waffling here are the piccies
Ok no cant get them to load up :censored: I have no idea on how to change the size of them so think in going to try and email them to angie to see if she can get them on her!!!!!
I will get there eventually Jedi/Diego go go go may be a old age pensioner by the time i work it out though
-
Hi Karen,
look forward to seeing photos!!
If you still have probs downsizing I can do them for you if so just pm me and I'll send my email addy
-
That would be great if you could janeyk as i just tried to send angie some piccies of my other foster kittens and they have bounced back!!!
I need to learn how to down size i think!!!!!!!!!!
-
No probs :)
-
Thanks Karen - got them and done, do you want me to add or shall I email them back for you to add text?
-
you can pop them that would be great thanks. Hubby resizing the camera to make sure it takes piccies i can put straight on.
Thanks janeyk
-
OK ;D I did put them on last night but took them off this morning cos I had second thoughts wondering whether you'd like to add to text :shy:
Here they are and they are gorgeous :Luv: :Luv2:
-
You just have to ignore the text under photos i nicked the camera of hubby while he was in the middle of taking pics of car parts he is selling on ebay, he wasnt impressed as it took me about 30 mins to get these as our camera has a delay. So i would wait for the kittens to look my way and press button and then have to wait for 10 secs for it to take which meant they moved. I had lots of blurred fluffball piccies :-:
Anyway gonna play with my camera to try and stop these and to resize the piccies so i dont have all these problems again
Thanks again Janeyk didnt think id ever get these on. If i manage to retrieve piccies of phone of the others i will put them on.
-
If you've any more probs just send them through as before
-
The text made me giggle a little. (Knew you wouldn't sell them on Ebay!) They're lovely. :Luv:

:evillaugh: me too - but didn't like to mention it! ;)
-
:shy:Ooh, I do so like grey...........it looks so elegant, specially when it's on a gorgeous fluffy kitten. I've been trying to enjoy my garden in the sun but I have competition!!!!!!!!!
-
:omg: what cuties, I love the name 'Diego', I think you should go with your 3 year old and not your hubbie :evillaugh:
If you need to resize pics then this 'tool' is great - it takes seconds to download and then when you right click a picture there will be a new option to resize it, select one of the pre-set sizes and in a split second it makes a smaller copy of the original pic.

Harvey is such a poser - did you have his sun creme out?
-
:Luv: No, can't catch him, luckily he stays out of the sun. Last night I made the mistake of having the main window in my bedroom open, I'd managed to get him in, but he kamikazied it out of the window!!! landed on the wheelie bin ( so they do have their uses) and legged it. Actually he was probably more comfortably overnight than I was!! Checked him over this morning and he's fine.
-
Aw what gorgeous furry babes! :Luv2:
-
My baby Jedi (grey one we decided to adopt) has gone missing :( Havent seen him since thursday and he loves to go out but always comes when i call him. Phoned all the other rescues etc yesterday and went round the neighbours no sign of him. Going to start making posters this morning! I hope he is ok.
-
Oh no! Hope you find him soon-he's just like my Charlie when he was a baby! :Luv2: :Luv2:
-
He is home ;D. We all went for a long hunt in the woods behind the house and after a hour found him. I have some worries about him he is acting very strange he eventually came out of the bushes for a fuss but the moment i picked him up he freaked and got really panicky everytime i tried to take him out of the woods but i am going to start a new thread in the behaviour section for some advice.
So glad he is alright
-
well done
-
That is the best news I have had all day! Well done indeed! :)
-
Great news Jedi's home! Hope he'll be ok :Luv2: :Luv2:
