Strudel arrived at the Inn heavily pregnant on 3rd January; she is pleased to announce the safe arrival of her 4 kittens born this morning, she has 2 tabbies and 2 gingers;names and pics to follow when appropriate.

Strudel has just enjoyed a fuss and while she was enjoying her tea I couldnt resist getting a few baby pics. Going to have some much needed fun going through Auction names with Claire tomorrow.

Strudel is proving to be an excellent mum and was very happy for me to check babies over this morning,all lovely full tummys; we have 3 boys who are solid ginger,ginger and white and the darker tabby, the paler tabby is a beautiful little girl.
Was dreading having such and early start to the season but these are a big ray of sunshine.
Names will be chosen from Auction list when Claire arrives later today.

I have spent some of this morning cuddling Strudel and her gorgeous babies and I thought you might like to see how they have grown! They are 3 weeks now and growing fast - all eyes open!

My thanks to Claire for taking such gorgeous pictures and posting them for me.
Strudels babies are 4 weeks today and enjoying their little jaunts around the pen, the tabbies are the real explorers and are going to be full of mischief .

Cant seem to take great pictures like Claire does but heres this weeks pics of the little family now aged 4 weeks. By the way their Pen is dirty because I was snapping while OH was mucking out.

Strudel is indeed a good mum but kittens Quinn and Crumble are so different in character, Quinn is the laid back sensible one, Crumble the only girl should really have been named Dora the Explorer, she`s the tomboy of the litter and thinks nothing of scaling 6 foot up the pen doors and will often lead her brother Casper into mischief, as for Rufus he simply loves climbing his scratching posts.
They will be ready for rehoming very soon.

Quinn is indeed a mini version of Paddy and he has expressed a wish to share in Paddys wonderful life,his worldly goods are wrapped in a hanky on the end of a stick but Aunty suepoo he`s forgotten which bus to catch :rofl: :rofl:

Strudel was spayed on Tuesday and has recovered well.
Got someone coming with a view to adopting her and 2 of her kittens tomorrow so fingers crossed as threesomes are rare.

Strudel along with her kittens Rufus and Quinn are currently settling into their new home together. Her kittens Crumble and Casper the tabby terrors are still looking for their home.
Thats 6 out today and 2 earlier this week,hopefully things will be easier for a day or two.
