We are now having to feed Gems kitens twice a day for Cairo and Beijing and most of the time for little Shanhai and its been a good couple of years since the canac bottle was used and the rubber teats on the top of the bottle is knackered to put a finer point on it and I have bad hands so am struggling
Does anyone have a spare top the could pop in the post
I have ordered some but they say Monday as we are in an outlying area - I did point out thats its still mainland UK and would pay extra for postage but hey ho
I am more than happy to pay for or make a donation to Purrs if anyone can help can they pm me for address details
Gem and the Babes send big purrs in advance of any help :)

Hi Liz,
We don't use the canac bottles but the Royal Canin bottles. We use their Vital Milk simply because we have better results with it and it allows for more time between feeds thus taking the strain off us a bit when we have a lot in. You should be able to get some from your local vet and the teats allow for controlled feeding at 3 rates.
If you're struggling to get hold of one we could try and get one up to you????
Let me know.
 xx

Sarah, I've got quite a few of these, but being thick  have never worked out how to use them with the three thingies on the nipple. What do you have to do? :Dont know:
-
lol if you feed with the number of the flow you want facing upwards. 1 being the slowest and 3 being the fastest. It took us a little while to work it out too... but got there in the end. I think its to do with the shape of the hole in the teat and the position that the kitten feeds in.
So, we always feed teenies at 1... and gradually switch to 2 or 3 as they get older. that make sense??? lol

See, it was me being thick then :slap: Will have to try again, I'm sure I will have plenty of times in the future to practice. ;)

if it makes you feel any better it was my hubby that worked it out... cos I couldn't! lol
