Title: I don't understand cats - Clapton's food
Post by: Mark on May 01, 2008, 20:30:03 PM
I just scraped the various dishes of leftover food from the cats dishes into a clean dish and sprinkled dome Lidl opticat biscuits on top for spike. As I was going out, Clapton shreiked at me and followed me out and is happily scoffing it now

Lidls Opticat? Do you mean Coshida, or do they do Opticat bisquits too? We used to give Jameson the Coshida bisquits before moving onto JWB and now PAH. He still adores the Opticat pouches, not to mention the Coshida chewing sticks - he goes crazy for them.

It's the premuim dry food. It's quite high quality. It contains Chicken meal rather than chicken meat meal though. I bought it for the hedgies as it's a lot cheaper than dry hedgie food - they recommend cat food for hedgies  :evillaugh:

maybe he hates the idea of the hedgies getting HIS food!   or is it something to do with the shape of the bowl?

It's definitely Opticat "Super premium" 750gram bag for £1.99 - the biscuits look like little donuts  :evillaugh:

I've used 'jealousy' to get Max to eat. Put food he won't eat on "Swampy's plate" or hand held it for him the way I have to do for da Swamp and bingo...scoffed. It's a little game they make us play to keep us mere slaves busy and themselves entertained I think   It's like refusing to eat for ages, then demanding food when you are watching something you really want to watch on telly.
