Title: Worlds best cat litter - well!
Post by: Leanne on May 01, 2008, 16:34:37 PM
We tried it last night in the open tray, both Jess and Milo walked in it spent a great deal of time looking and sniffying it.

But neither of them seem interested in using it!

Well I hope they do at the price of it!

If you are changing the type of litter you use it is worth doing it gradually or at least putting a topping of the old litter on top of the new stuff. Else you could find the worlds best will last forever but you will start seeing damp patches around the house......

When we went to CP the other week there was a note on one of the pens saying "Use wood litter as this cat eats worlds best"  :evillaugh:
Apparently, they use all kinds of litter so the cats will adapt to whatever is used when they are homed. Same with food. I have to admit, I chop & change and luckily haven't had any problems. The latest was sophisticat. Not to be repeated as it is horrible and sticks in clumps to the bottom of the tray. Back to Catsan at the moment.

See Jess is a funny animal, so particular, but the behaviourist said to try a tray with something totally different in so thats what I'm doing but he doesn't seem impressed with it, his been in it i've seen the paw prints  I just want him to wee it now

I tried it briefly. Lexy did like it but she got loads of the crumb on her legs, so she'd lick it off... and it constipated her... not good! So we went back to wood, which she likes even more.

Well last night I had a litter tray fit, I've removed all the newspapers and liners from all 3 trays now, the one upstaris now has WBCL and no lid and the 2 downstaris have catsan and one had a lid.

And last night Jess wee'd in the upstairs one, YAY  :wow: :wow: :wow: :wow:

It was so much easier scooping it out than fishing around in catsan, I so hope they take to it and soon

I tried it too -2 didn''t mind it too much -but Sophie just went at the side of it outside the tray and she is always spotless with her habits - gave her another tray with another litter in and she used it !
Don''t use it anymore -have been using a great litter called AK cat litter -they have now stopped doing it after 3 years !
Luckily i got the last 12 bags ,which will last me around 8 months now -but don''t fancy the looking again for another sort !
Have tried quite a few over the years , but this had been the best -and now they are stopping it -typical !
