7.5kg bag reduced from £19.99 to £13.33 - the reduction wasn't shown on the shelf ticket so I got a pleasant surprise when I went to pay (even better, I remembered to use my "spend £50 and get £8 off" voucher)

Word of advice which I didn't know until I came on here, but am now converted ...........
You can buy chick crumb, and its waaaaaay cheaper, and is pretty much identical.
I buy 20kg for under £10 from my local garden centre, and its fabulous :wow:

Thanks for the tip - I'll keep my eyes open for chick crumb; I must admit I've never seen it in the garden centres round here.

You'd probably have to get it in on a special order......I have to. Pet shops might also be able to source it for you.
The only thing you have to make sure is that you get one which is not medicated.
I get the Farmgate chick crumb, and it truly is fantastic stuff, can't recommend it highly enough ;D
Edited to add: my garden centre has a pet outlet, which is where I sourced mine originally.

I get mine from an equestrian centre but I know some people get it a Jolleys (sp?)
