Just to let everyone know that Carol M will be the proud owner of one of the pair of mugs I got on the auction!
She made a donation to Lesley and this will be with her in the next couple of days!
Next year Carol and I will be getting our strategy going for the mugs so all bidders beware!!!!!!!!!!! :shify:  :innocent:

don't care - I have my court jester mug and am very happy with it thanks!! ;D

Ahhh that's very nice of you Liz ... :'( but you've split up the pair!!!! I hope they don't miss each other ... they have always lived together.

Don't worry Sam. Think of it growing up and flying the nest. Mine will have the Felix teapot (good pourer by the way) and Katie the kettle for company, not to mention a motley assortment of other cat mugs which I'm sure will be put to shame. I promise it won't be lonely and I'll look after it well.

Both mugs will be loved and cherished but in different countries, mine will also be kept company with a load of felix mugs and all the accessoeries at 9 cans a day we have a load of tokens!
They can swap lives on living with cats and in our case the dogs to!
Mine had Latte this evening!

:omg: Liz you do realise that some time next century one of your ancestors will turn up at the Antiques Roadshow with your mug, just to be told 'this is one of a pair - if you had them both they'd be worth several hundred thousand pounds but alone its not worth ten bob'
-
So Lesley we need to make arrangements for their future!
I think with the history of helping needy cats then they will be worth as much as a single or send someone on the hunt for the pair!!! :shify:

LOL  what a lovely thought .... but I can't see it somehow (at least I hope I haven't just sold my retirement fund!  )
Pleased to hear that both mugs are going to good homes and will be loved and well used :Luv2:
