Blimey, are all his legs that long? How big is he going to end up being?!!!!!
Don't worry, I'm sure you can replace the mesh on your screening once Lukey's had his mad moments lol.  Wonder how long he'll take to get used to it? It looks really great; keeps them in but is unobtrusive.

He's still doing it and looking even more confused, like he's racking his brains as to how he used to do it before  :evillaugh:

Helen - where did you get your catproofing window meshes from? I was talking about getting something like that.

www.cataire.co.uk  You buy them in kit form and assemble them yourself, they're not hard to make but I'm DIY dyslexic so I got my sister to make them for me.  They're very sturdy but Lucas is now fully grown (and a little porker) so he's managed to claw some small holes in this one, not enough to compromise the security of them though.  He hasn't noticed the ones in the bedrooms and kitchen - yet  :shify:

Something missing... mm... wonder what it could be.

I KNOW!!  A photo of the angel being cruely treated by his mum!

Well.. where is it? hmmm.. fix this pls!  :evillaugh: ;)

I'm embarrassed and ashamed to admit that I haven't caught the 'thud/slide/confused look' on camera but I do have a few from tonight   ;)

First is the screen in question leant up against the settee, Riley underneath and LuLu on top trying to attack him  :evillaugh:

Riley with his world record attempt for the 'longest right front leg'

   Bless him   :Luv:

I've thought about getting window screens but had never thought about the cats using them as a climbing frame.  Perhaps they're not such a good idea with Mosi around.

Lucas has lost his magical powers!

My windows are catproofed which is basically a fine fibreglass mesh in a frame that's attached over the window opening.  The one in the living room is a floor to ceiling window with the top opening (waist height to ceiling height) covered in the catproof frame.  Anyway, Lucas had taken to making some weird 'brrr-ing' sounds then shinning up the catproofing at speed so his head is as high as the ceiling.  I don't like him doing it for a few reasons; 1) the catproofing was quite expensive and he's ripped little holes in it and 2) it's dangerous for him to do it as if the window were open and it gave way on him he'd have to rely on his 9 lives  :evillaugh:  He took great delight in doing this several times a day then looking at me cheekily with his head poking through the vertical blinds when I told him to get down  :innocent:

So... Tonight I have removed the frame, I've been virtually wetting myself as he launches himself up to the window only to hear a thud and then a sliding noise as he slides down the window looking very confused   He can't figure out how he used to climb up it but now he can't  :evillaugh:  I feel cruel for laughing at him but is is far too funny not to - sorry LuLu  :shy:
