That is fabulous! Bertie likes veggies but his criteria is that they mustn't be green ... so tomatoes, potatoes and peppers are gratefully received, but lettuce and broccoli are met with disdain ... doesn't explain why it's then ok to eat grass and house plants though

No wonder he's growing into such a big boy eating all his greens!

Mosi has a thing about Always wrappers too.  He's obsessed with them.

Cracked me up about the Always Ultra

Max was a good boy eating his veggies on Sunday, I cooked a roast so saved him some chicken for his little treat bowl, but he also ate:-
3 small pieces of carrott
2 bits of broccili
2 bits of roast potato

Only little bits of course, but he was totally loving it  :evillaugh:

Last night he was pesking for a bit of BBQ pringles, but o/h gave him a bit of salt & vinegar crisp instead, which he will go mental for

It's official - Riley is a freak

Bought a cooked chicken for dinner tonight, I lovingly picked off the brown meat and skin for the boys then chopped it into delicate morsels.  With my piece of chicken I had a jacket potato with the insides scooped out and mashed up with leeks :drool;

All the way through the preparation of the chicken I was met with the most hideous, hunger starved yowling from both of the boys.  When I could take no more I put their bowls down and Riley ate about two small pieces of chicken before scaling the kitchen worksurface and tucking into the mashed up potato and leek filling that had tumbled out of the skins  :innocent:  He did a simlar thing last night wrestling me for a piece of lettuce that had fallen out of my wrap ignoring the succulent chunks of chicken in the process

its weird how some cats love human food and others arent interested at all.  jasper wont eat any meat at all which i find really odd. but fish, popcorn, healthyfood, butter, ice cream, prawn crackers.... he loves!!!!

Yep, it's funny isn't it.  Riley is not as food orientated as Lukey but he eats the most random things where as Mr Piglet aka Lukey won't eat any fruit, veg, popcorn etc He is partial to a cheesy wotsit though  :evillaugh:

I have mentioned this before but foxy will actually sell body parts in order to get a mushroom ... cooked, raw, sliced, button, in sauce or out it doesn't matter as long as it's a mushroom  she also eats all human food (and I do mean all) but mushrooms are actively sought out!  :scared:

Rossi on the other hand does NOT eat  ANY human food  .... except beef and onion crisp.  And Zephyr goes scatty for prawns and any cooked meat.

Oliver, a.k.a. walking (+ pouncing, scratching, purring) hoover, so far ate sultanas, dried fig, potatoes, peas, brussel sprouts (special reminder to Lucy :evillaugh:), broccoli and carrots, though the veggies are usually covered with either bechamele, cream or cheesy sauce.  I thought he had a bold palate for a cat, but I don't think even he would go for raw tomatoes... :innocent:

Next time someone tries to feed me brussel sprouts I'll know who to pass them on to!

Anyone know how much a junior cat ticket costs at the cinema?!

I was just trying to eat some cinema style sweet popcorn when Riley tried to get his fat face in the bag, I threw both of them a piece each to distract them and show them that it wasn't something they wanted to eat just something to bat around but Riley gobbled his piece down then ate LuLu's too  ;D  He then came back to me and tried to get in the bag again, he'll be wanting to go to the cinema next!  :evillaugh:

See how he likes rasins.

I've had two cats who will drool over my hands to get at my rasins.

Lirael enjoys pears and Little Girl loved peas. Right now we're dealing with Penguin who will not let you eat a crips in peace...

Helen if your boy likes his fruit and veg he'll probably like Cantelope (sp) melon .... both Foxy and Zephyr adore it.  I quite often buy ½ a melon ... I scrape the pulp out of the middle (pick the seeds out) and let them eat the fleshy bits that the seeds are attached to.  If I use a teaspoon and scrape the flesh with lots of juice into a bowl they both lap it up and always want more.
