It's at times like this I'm glad that I always pay yearly. Not a fan of DD.

lay me down, let me go, feeling heavy the ground is cold,
lay me down take it slow I'm ready to stumble, sing & then swing low

:thanks: Gill, that's good to know. I think mine will be OK though as they came out on the 1st Aug and next payment is due 1st Sept but at least I won't have to panic if they don't go through!

The 0800 number is the one that's on my paperwork this year. It's unusual for a company to have an 0800 number for customer services nowadays, they normally have 0800 for new sales only and 0845/0870 for customer services which cost a fortune from mobiles  :tired:

I was going to phone them over the next couple of days to change Kylie's policy over to them but will leave it a few days now. Lloyd's are now charging £12.50 a month for £3,000 cover - Alice is down as 2 years older than Kylie and Ionly pay £13.50 for £7,000 cover with Axa.

That means Kylie's premium has more than doubled in 8 years with no claims. (I think it was about £5 a month in 2002)

This may not be a problem for you or you may already know.

My 4 policies should have had their DD paid yesterday but didnt and in my bank they were showing as cancelled. Spoke to bank and they say they were cancelled by the company ...................panic!

Just spoke to AXA and they have just moved offices and had a ststem upgrade...................we on Purrs know about them lol.............and she checked with their accounts department and this months payment will not go out until 31 August and then it will return to normal.

She apologized for them not writing but suspect they havent written to anyone but they are confirming this in writying now.

They have very high phone call levels............well I am not surprised!

They have also changed their customer service number to 0800 316 9036.

This has now cost me 4 phonecalls...........One to bank, two to old service numebr cos hadnt got anything to write with , plus, oh yes a free one to the new number.
