I could take him in, but i'm in Leeds and i'm guessing that they wouldn't re-home him that far - please do keep us updated!

So he's currently in the care of a vet under the RSPCA? Is there a list of his health issues anywhere? I know some people in Bristol I can send messages and see if they'd help; but I think it's only fair to let them know what they'd be taking on!

Also, if he's under RSPCA care are they expected to pay money to the RSPCA?

if his only medical problem, after treatment, is blindness, I might be able to take him, as long as he is not FelV positive (Trigger must not be exposed to leukemia, or FIP may surface)

am not able to access vet here on regular basis, though, but might be able to pay some vet's fees for treatment in Bristol

He saw a private vet Gill and was then signed over to the RSPCA who will hold for 7 days and then probably pts as hes not in good condition. I believe thats til tues  :(

RSPCA BRENT KNOLL ANIMAL CENTRE.
Brent Road, Brent Knoll, Nr Burnham-On-Sea TA9 4BL

Whats the likelyhood of them letting him go to another rescue? Probably v.slim

this is my problem, i do volunteer for CPL if we had got him first it would be very different, but as a company they cant justify taking a cat already in care in when he is being dealt with already and many others arent, I've had a great response here, I will take the cat in if he is still with us by tuesday, they have mentioned now homecheck and seem very pessimistic but if i can get him better then to a nice home :) would be great

Hello, everyone I'm sorry i dont post here very often,
I'm in a dilemma and I know the more heads the better.
If you have the time to please read the following thread

http://www.petforums.co.uk/cat-chat/31229-found-stray.html
Sorry if this is seen as advertising but its the only way you can get up to date with the situation without me waffling on.

Basically I'm trying to find a possible home for this little guy, he's very poorley and completley blind but could with the right owner and love make it through the illness and deal with his disability and have a good quality of life.

please just read the thread and see if you can help.

the picture is of him when he was found early this week
