We have had a set back with leo sadly and he has become unwell again :( (posted in homing thread update)

Funds are still needed to help these 2 as with leo's difficultys and getting ill again the vet bill is on the rise still.

Please send good vibes for leo, just when he looked to be doing so well he has become ill again :(

RE Other cats: I have a foster place secured for 2 more, I just need to contact the fosterers vets to see there willing to work along side us. Funding is a huge problem at the moment due to so many animals coming into the rescue and sadly we are at the stage of not being able to take in anymore due to this.

There still there at the moment :( so no change. I cant find any more fosters and im trying to see if other rescues will take in.

Im going to visit some kennels later that accomodate cats and if suitable will see if I can get funds to place them there. I hate using kennels but if its a last resort and gets them out then im willing to try.

I would like to say a huge thank you to those who have donated  ;D Both have received all there treatment, nuetered, chipped and innoculated. Leo had operation on his eye to help improve some qaulity to it. He may still need some treatment on it and will have problems all his life (prone to infections and such)

Thank you :)

Feline aids and leukeamia has come back clear. Leos eye can be operated to remove scarring which is causing him to be blind in that eye but its not gaurenteed he will gain any vision back so we are weighing up the odds on it at the moment. Still getting the other 11 out.

Poor babies - I think the thread is being missed here. I'm sure this will be looked at soon and hopefully an appeal started.
(Mods have been contacted)

I have made a donation from your site - good luck

Just to update this.I have been contacted today and tole there another 11 cats/kittens still  All with cat flu, one with stunted growth and one complet;y blind from untreated ulcerated eyes  :(

Arrangements are under way to get these cats out and seen by a vet. it isnt sounding good at all for some of them :(

Funding is even more urgent now to help these poor cats.

Anya & Leo seem to be recovering fine. Sadly Leo isnt responding to treatment on his eye and being reveiwed monday by the vet to have the eye removed.

Anya & Leo's Appeal for vet funding
« Reply #1 on: December 24, 2008, 14:12:35 PM »
Despite closing for christmas Anya & leo were welcomed into the RACR and are placed with a fosterer in Swindon.

Both these 6 month old kittens were removed from a run down damp and crummy caraven from a member of the public. Extremely ill with cat flu, and Leo having an ulcerated eye which may need removing. Their vet bills are rising and the RACR would really appreciate if anyone could spare even a little to help fund there vet bills.

You can donate and see Anya & Leo on the RACR website: http://rattiemommysallcarerescue.webs.com/
