Excellent Carl

Now for those of you who were worried about poor deprived little Lucas, I waited til Riley went upstairs, tiptoed into the kitchen and got the temptations then gingerly made my way into the living room before closing the door as fast as I could - success!

I even let Lu eat them straight out of the pot so he felt like he was stealing them  :)

Notice the free falling tempation from his mouth in this shot, he managed to catch it mid air though - clever boy  :)

I'm sooooo in love with Riley!! What a character he is!!!
Jameson is the same with prawns - he actually finished the whole lot at our christmas dinner at home - before I even had a chance to put it out the tables. I just couldn't resist that little paw waving around at me, occassionally knocking prawns outta my hands. Guests not impressed!!

However... my boy has got expensive taste....:

But in the first pic, your fingers are intact!!  ;D  What exactly does a tiger eating an antelope sound like?

Riley looks to be taking them rather gently actually.  No way would I hand feed Jaffa prawns like that.  I'd end up with no fingers.

Looks can definitely be deceiving then!  He was attacking me like a rabid dog, jumping up to either grab them with his mouth or bat them out of my hand.  He then slavered all over the kitchen floor making the sound of a tiger eating an antelope  :evillaugh:

My lot hate shellfish  :innocent: the one type of food they wont piggy on.

I hope poor lucus got some whiskas treats

Not yet, I've got no chance of getting them out of the cupboard without Mr Piglet spotting them.  Will have to wait til he goes upstairs and then lock me and Lu in the kitchen - I wouldn't leave him out  :Luv:

Yes - what is Lukey getting instead of prawns?  I hope he's not being left out!

 ;D

Jaffa is very envious!  Although he does actually prefer the smaller prawns.

I know what you mean about the frizzy tail!  ;D  Jaffa does that when he's excited.

Riley has just had a King prawn fest, he gets so excited his tail goes all frizzy - managed to get some good 'action prawn' shots  :evillaugh:

Started in the kitchen...

He developed a great technique which involved jumping up and knocking the prawn out of my hand, notice the free falling prawn in this pic!

On guard...

Feet off the floor!

Moving into the hallway - poor Lu who hates prawns sitting miserably behind him!

That's settled then, half now and half in the morning.  Will stock up and freeze if they have a surplus again next time as he goes mental for prawns :drool;

I freeze them!  Neither mysel nor Jaffa have ever come a cropper as a result of eating previously frozen prawns.

Yeah, I suppose - I'm very funny about use by dates but I guess Riley doesn't care!  Can you freeze prawns then?  Wish I'd known that if you can as there were hundreds of packets.

I'm sure they'll be fine tomorrow if they've been kept in the fridge.  They aren't going to magically go off when the clock strikes midnight!  Can't you freeze them?

Cunning plot but will they still be OK in the morning?  They're use by the 10th...

Jaffa could eat 100g prawns no problem  ;D  but maybe best to split them - give him half tonight and half in the morning?

Went shopping earlier today and got a packet of King Prawns for just 42p  :wow:  Obviously at that price they are use by the 10th.  Riley loves prawns and would probably eat the whole lot if given the chance, Lu refuses to even lick one so they're just for Riley.

Will 100g of prawns be too much for him?  Don't want to make him ill or anything and I've never given that amount before in one go.
