I'm not saying that the pens would be horrible....it's more me and my conscious of not putting them straight into a loving home...i would be worrying about them constantly....I have got another couple coming to see them so fingers crossed.   ;)

Can't believe these two stunners are still looking for a home ... they really are gorgeous kitties.
In ancient times cats were worshiped as gods; they have not forgotten this.

Not all rescues have horrible pens you know - check out Teresas "we have two new pens" thread. I know what you're saying, but if you look around you might find a local rescue that doesn't make you feel awful!

To be honest I wouldn't put them in a rescue centre in cages. I would rather wait until I find someone where I can home them directly. I have done a couple of home checks but they lived on main roads which isn't suitable seen as though they love the outdoors.

Are you still hopeful to direct rehome these puss cats? Just that i am sure if they were in a rescue situation they may of been snapped up by now? Think about it but dont leave it to the last minute as rescues want be able to find space on the spot... They look adorable... The last white cat we had in our branch was in and out within 2 days... Why not see if a rescue will put them on CatChat for you.... or go through your vets...

They're going through some renovations so aren't answering the phone. Check with CP HQ who the next best is or they can get the branch manager at that adoption center to contact you, or you him.

It's worth asking.

I live in Palmers Green. Whilst I can't take on another cat (mine won't have it!) there are a few rescues in our area that might be willing to help and consider you a "foster" so that the cats don't take up pens in the rescue whilst waiting to rehome.

Cats Protection in Archway covers our area and might be open to the idea:

Sadly this sentence really tells it all... I would think serioulsy about the road for these lovely two cats!

Lucia his sister, is a real outdoor cat and loves going off on her adventures.

Hi

Yes I'm still trying to home them. I did a homecheck for a lady over the weekend. She has just lost her husband and you can tell she is very lonely and would love the cats but she lives on a really busy road which concerns me, so busy that when we left her house somone had smased into my car and my mirror was half way down the road. But I know she would love them so I'm a little confused at what to do.

I wish I did have a family memeber who could take them, My mum has 2 dogs and 3 cats and she was really the only person who would have taken them.
I'm sure I will find someone. If I don't I will stay in England and keep them  :evillaugh: :evillaugh: :evillaugh: :evillaugh:

Hiya tiffany, glad to see you made it over here  :welcome:

Just a thought but have you any family members who would foster/adopt these two ?  you are clearly very attached to them and that way you'd be able to keep in touch with them and possibly have them back if and when you returned to the uk or even if that was deemed unfair to the pair still be able to know how they are getting on and that they are ok.

Sorry you have to re-home these two, they're gorgeous and I'm sure will find a loving home in no time  Could you ask a local rescue to put them on their website?  They could still stay at home with you but would get much more exposure that way.

yes Wood Green is very near me. I did call them but they will not allow me to keep my cats at home until they are rehomed. Going to a new home is going to take enough adjusting... so I don't want to traumatise them anymore by placing them in pens/cages. I thought it would be better for them by saving pen space for more urgent cases too. :(

But you shouldn't have any problems with white puds, they're very popular.  ;) :naughty:

Very true so be extra vigilent about who you allow to have them  ;D

We met in the Cats Basket, TB1976, and thanks for posting on the main forum.

What area are you in, may I ask?

Hi

I'm moving Abroad in June and need to find my gorgeous white cats Milan and Lucia a loving home. I don't want to seperate them as they are brother and sister and they love eachother   . Ideally they need to go to a home that doesn't have any other animals or kids as I don't think they would react very well. They have alway had access to a garden too. The have both been neutered.

They are roughly 4 and a half years old

Milan (the boy) is a really affectionate cat, he likes lots of attention, cuddles, belly rubbed, talking to him. He is a peoples cat and doesn't like going out much. He loves his food. Milan does have a slight heart murmur but it has not affected his life and he doesn'tneed any medication (apparantely this is quite common in cats)

Lucia his sister, is a real outdoor cat and loves going off on her adventures. She is smaller than her brother and is a typical girl...quite snooty but will come to you for cuddles when she feels like it.

They are both such lovley cats, and I'm really sad to let them go but I wont put them through the ordeal of a flight. I need to make sure they are going to a good home and will do a home check.

 :thanks:
