Awww she must have felt better once that one was out!
Fred had huge furballs, when we first got him he used to throw up loads of food with each furball which was a bit of a pain but he's much better now at holding onto his food and just furball and some liquid, poor luv! I remember growing up we always had long haired cats and some got really efficient at bringing up perfectly formed, virtually dry balls... genius!

Garfy did a furball not to long ago that was the size of at least two sausages, it was brought up after the vet visit which siad he'd gained 250g, i didn't think to weigh it but this was no doubt the cause of the weight gain!

Gypsy has much more fur than Garfy and she hasn't shown one yet Garfys total two now!!

Furballs are pretty grim things it is interesting though.

DO NOT BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER ANIMALS DIE

I believe I am not interested to know whether Vivisection produces results that are profitable to the human race or doesn't. To know that the results are profitable to the race would not remove my hostility to it.  Mark Twain

Save that, Mark, and the next time you get some annoying junk mail with a pre-paid envelope, send it to them as a gift. You won't hear from them again, I can assure you!!!!  :evillaugh:

And I'm with Gibraltercat - I always find these when I have bare feet, too!

I've never seen a furball before, it is that long poo shaped thing?

Yes - I was surprised the first time I saw one - I thought they would be round but it makes sense they are like a big poo

Last summer, clapton did one in the garden and it was covered in slugs. When they were done, there was only fur left

Thai had a fur ball like that once - took her ages to hack it up bless.

Like Kylies it was more sasauge shaped - but think about it - it is really throat shaped, and it was the first one I had seen. Poor baby - bet she feels better now. xxxxx

Lexy's furballs are always just teeny. That's looks like she's spent a good old time building it up.

Lily's only ever thrown up once and that just looked like food, no furballs in sight.  She's coughed a few times though.

It is only a saucer but still big

I didn't think it was possible if they ate grass every day. She often eats plant leaves too (reed type leaves)

I don't give her katalax as she is always in the garden and eats grass every day. She still managed to accumulate this big furball

She was eating and threw up on one of my denby plates her dish
