I was going to rehome Taffy via the Dog Pages forum.  However my vet advised against getting another cat and I was obviously disappointed.  From what Deb has told me Taffy is a beautiful little cat and I so hope someone can give her the chance of her own forever home.

Thats a shame, did he think it would be detrimental to charlie?

If only I could - there are so many babes on here that I want.

The Bengal kitten
Taffy
The big Tabby Lad Marus

to name only 3 - but I cant - Hubby says no  >:(  and Zubin my dominant Bengal deffo says no. Thai would welcome with open paws, she is a brindle tortie tabby like Taffy & and also like Taffy an absolute babe.

i dont know why she doesn't have a home  :'(  :'(

she is a lovely cat!!  i went on holiday last week (on a seabird island so couldn't take her) and so took her to my mums on the way (4 hour journey).  She was fine for whole journey and settled in soo well when we got there.

she is such an affectionate tolerant cat.  she wants cuddles, but is also very tolerant of being lifted onto the floor when she starts "writing" on the keyboard of the computer.  she gets on very well with my cat and dog.

she is a fantastic cute cuddly silly cat who just needs a permanent home!

How is it possible that such a sweetie still doesn't have a permanent home? She looks lovely.

Aaah right, I understand!

Yes I can understand your difficulties in finding her a home without a cat charity behind it as such.

I'm just going to PM you the details of the lady who called me the other day!

Hiya

I am not sure if I totally understood your reply so let me know if i dont answer all your questions.

Hope rescue is a charity based in South Wales.  It predominantly rehomes dogs but Taffy was in a dog pound and so Hope took her in.  My dog is a Hope rescue and thus I offered to foster the cat and so she was fitted on a transport run up to leeds.

http://www.hoperescue.org.uk/

Hiya I didnt know about the west yorkshire pages of cat chat?  the problem is that hope rescue are mainly a dog rescue, taffy is the only cat they have in care so I wasnt sure how much I could register hope rescue on here.

Cheers

What sort of "advertising" does Hope Pastures do as it's definately not a charity I thought was up here and so it's hard for potential adopters to know that you're up here and have cats avaliable. If you could get yourself on the West Yorkshire pages of Catchat that may help?

I did have a potential home for Taffy, but I need to check whether we have anything suitable first and check with my Welfare Officer at what stag it's at, but i'll let you know xxx

lovely taffy is still waiting for a new home. :(

taffy is described on her last thread so just to reiterate

taffy is between 1 and 3 years old

she is being fostered in Leeds for hope rescue

Hope rescue rehome all over the country (subject to homecheck) as long as you are willing to travel to take this cutie home

She is neutered, chipped, vaccinated, deflead and dewormed.

She is thee lovely cuddly teddybear and is very affectionate and noisey when she wants cuddles! :Luv2:
She is living with a dog and cat as the moment and is getting along fine with both.

The dog she is living with is ruairi (my mad st bernard cross rough collie ) so she can handle playful big dogs!

cheers

Hello Debs!

I'm the homing officer for CP in Leeds and we haven't got many dog friendly cats in our care at the moment, and so if I get a potential, good home and we can't help, do you want me to pass it into you?

Hi Debs,
Taffy is a gorgeous cat and I hope it won't be too long before she finds a permanent home.  :)

Debs, Taffy is adorable. I think there's sub catagories now, but if your post is in the wrong section don't worry, a moderator will move it. :)

Welcome to Purrs. :) I'm going to send a friend of mine a link to this thread to see if she'd be interested in a playmate for her beautiful little girl.

Hiya

This is my first post so i hope i am doing everything OK: i have also posted this on cc: i hope that ok?

I am fostering a cat for Hope Rescue.

Hope Rescue is a rescue based in south Wales rescuing dogs. However recently they have started rescueing cats and other animals in need as well.

Thus I am fostering a cat for them at the moment in Leeds.
It is a female called Taffy and is a tortoiseshell cat. She is a very affectionate little soul and v cute. She is living with my cat and dog at the moment and is fien with both. I will post a photo once I work out how to do it.

She is neatured and will go for her first vaccination this weekend.

Please contact me if you have any questions.
Thank you
