Hi Jill.  Sending you lots of love and my thoughts are with you alot lately as I endeavour to get my latest two charges out of danger.  You gave Abigail and Bethany all the love and warmth and comfort they knew in their short lives and for that you are truly a wonderful person.

It is unbelievable how such little balls of fluff can cause such huge holes in your heart but know that they are always with you and you will see their faces in the little ones still to come. :hug: :hug:

Any words I type seem useless really but maybe they will give you a little comfort.

Hope I'm doing this right. First time and completely computor illiterate.
Anyhow, here goes;
Thanks to everyone for the messages re my beautiful daughters, Abbegail and Bethany. It's taken this long to be able to reply. They were so special and were just becoming little kits with HUGH personalities. Having been sucessful before with Amy and Sally ( their big sisters, I bottle fed from 8 hours old, now 6 yrs!) I suppose I almost felt we were home and dry.
Words just can't express what I want to say, although most of you know.
Suffice to say that it feels as though someone has reached down my throat grabbed my heart and pulled it up out of me.
I'll always remember them, I couldn't have loved them more if I had given birth to them.
Bought a rodedendran bush today to plant so when I see it, they will still be here.

I have just seen this.  Jill did everything she could and I am so sorry for her loss.  Abigail and Bethany knew only love from her.

As for the creature that dumped them, perhaps it does not have any mirrors.

I'm so sorry. I hope Jill is coping OK - it must be hard to bond so strongly with a wee one and then lose them.

RIP, Little Ones. Reunited and happy together.

(I hope karma's storing up a nasty one for the person that dumped these two.)

Bad news I'm afraid, the larger of the two died last night. Jill is totally devastated about the whole thing and has been in tears all night and part of today.

They've just been here for a photo shoot for the Coventry Telegraph - I told Jill they probably won't be able to walk until they're 6 months :rofl: total fatties!

Anyway to remind you, first the picture of them when they arrived 12 days ago followd by a collection of them this afternoon.

Kittens weighed in at 6 ounces each on Friday. Still no opening of eyes.
There has been some runny poo but Jill has realised that she has been feding these two twice as much as they should be eating 'cos we thought they were older.
Rations have been reduced and the poo is normal (and theres me trying to scoff my supper of macaroni cheese while Jill was going into graphiic detail about the subject  :sick:)

Just an update to say the two are still OK, (touch wood). I saw hem yesterday. They are growing and making a lot of noise. There eyes are still closed.

I'm just wondering at what time the ears make a growth spurt as they are tiny at the moment and yet at 5 weeks old (god willing) they will be too big for them :evillaugh:#

They are getting a bit grubby though, what have peeps used for cleaning babies? Jills becoming neurotic and has so far only wiped them down with water and cotton wool but the little one is being slept on and getting covered in pee.
]

My two little ones have just reached three weeks and their ears are just opening up now, giving them that cute kitten look, rather than the little vole look. :Luv2:

I use the non scented baby wipes to clean them with, Pampers are the best - the things you become expert at when raising kittens  :rofl: :rofl:

Glad to hear these two are doing so well, pass  :hug: on to them and their fosterer.

Just caught up with one ... so pleased the babies are doing well.

Fingers crossed Mum is also well and found a nice new home where she will be looked after.
